The Inventory & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory and ensuring seamless warehouse operations. Key duties include overseeing inbound and outbound shipments, processing walk-in pickup documentation, handling returns, coordinating interbranch transfers, monitoring inventory levels, and reconciling stock counts with system records. The role emphasizes maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule inbound shipments to confirm accurate receipt and timely processing of incoming goods.
  • Inspect incoming product shipments for accuracy by comparing the physical stock to the purchase orders.
  • Report and resolve order discrepancies by contacting the vendor and purchasing agent.
  • Process outbound shipments and delivery notes of walk-in customers to ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner within our computer system.
  • Oversee the return process for goods, including proper documentation and handling procedures, per company policy.
  • Coordinate and process interbranch transfers to maintain smooth inventory movement between locations.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse inventory by performing regular cycle counts and contacting the purchasing group/agent to reorder when stock is low.
  • Communicate professionally with coworkers, other branches, and third-party clients and vendors to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling.
  • Manage data entry and file paperwork for necessary transactions.
  • Provide support to other warehouse functions as needed, including assisting with stock organization, labeling, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience with inventory management including cycle counts and monitoring stock levels.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or administration.
  • Strong accuracy and organizational skills are required.
  • Previous forklift operation experience or certification considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to twist, bend, stoop, stand, and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions.
  • Adaptable to work independently on tasks and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience working in high volume/transaction environment.
